Clients should begin with 5% concentration before 10% is prescribed. Instruct client to apply 1-2 pumps to cleansed and toned face. Follow with Micro or Macro Moisture+ based on skin type (MicroMoisture+ for normal to oily and MacroMoisture+ for normal to Dry/aging skin types). If client has been prescribed Clarify BPO emulsion (any concentration), Mandelica™ should be used as part of the morning routine before SPF application.

Mandelic acid is extracted from the bitter almond and is an alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA). Alpha hydroxy acids speed up the cellular turnover rate, ridding the skin of dead skill cells that enhance the natural creases in skin and dull the complexion. Mandelic Acid is the largest aromatic AHA. Since it has a large molecular size it’s less of an irritant.
